Hello, my name is Pamela Leist. I am starting my 21st year teaching for Holly Area Schools. I taught at Davisburg Elementary for 19 years and last year taught at both Davisburg and Rose Pioneer Elementaries. This year I will be working with 6th graders at Holly Middle School. I have been a member of our North Central Accreditation steering committee for 7 years. I have been a member of our BEST character traits committee, Positive Behavior Support Committee and served as a member of our district Strategic Planning committee on curriculum. I have been a member of our school and district Student Assistance Team and our Advanced Ed math committee. I am a member of the Oakland Schools Literacy Consortium.
I am a graduate of Byron Center High School near the Grand Rapids area. I received my Bachelors of Science in Special Education with a minor in Mathematics from Central Michigan University. I have a Masters Degree in Learning Disabilities from Eastern Michigan University.
I live in the Swartz Creek area with my husband and two dogs Maggie and Mia and two cats DaVinci and Peanut. I enjoy reading, camping, kayaking, spending time with my family and watching movies.
